Jayne Austin Development Producer
Jayne has always been passionate about creating content for young audiences.
She joined Hello Halo Kids in 2019 and has since gone on to create and produce Dog Squad (CBeebies), as well as produce the award-winning Let’s Go for a Walk (CBeebies), which won the Prix Jeunesse for Non-Fiction (Up to 6 Years) in 2022.
Jayne has played a key role in developing several other original commissions for Hello Halo Kids, including Get Set Galactic, Ranger Hamza’s Eco Quest (CBeebies) and Dig Detectives (Sky Kids) – helping to shape each project from concept through to commission.
Earlier in her career, she worked across a wide range of in-house CBBC and CBeebies shows. Highlights include All Over the Place (Asia & UK), Swashbuckle, The Dog Ate My Homework, Ferne & Rory’s Vet Tales, Feeling Better and The Dumping Ground.
Jayne also has a strong background in live performance working as a Director and Associate Artist at Scottish Youth Theatre. This hands-on experience continues to shape her approach to storytelling and her commitment to creating joyful, inclusive content for children and their families.
She is delighted to be working alongside Terri to create innovative, imaginative programmes for young audiences.
