Hello Halo is launching a new children’s content division, Hello Halo Kids, and will be to be overseen by its current Head of Children’s, Terri Langan.

Hello Halo Kids aims to produce international children’s programmes, working with the best talent from television, film, theatre and literature. The launch of the new division comes on the back of the success of the indie’s existing series Junk Rescue.

Terri joined Hello Halo two years ago, after having led the CBeebies in-house development team for almost four years. Prior to moving into kids content, she spent 15 years working as a producer in sport, factual and as Head of Development for indies in London and Manchester.

“Creating quality programmes for young people has never been more important and I am delighted to lead Hello Halo’s new division”, Terri Langan said “I look forward to creating even greater content for our young audiences and working with the incredibly talented children’s production community here in Scotland.”

Wendy Rattray, Managing Director of Hello Halo, added: “Terri is an exceptional talent in the world of children’s television. She’s an ambitious and highly creative exec and we’re excited about what’s on the horizon for Hello Halo Kids.”
